There is, understandably, a lot of hype about essential oils these days. As more and more people discover oils you might be curious enough to want to test them out yourself.
But with the amount of misinformation constantly being tossed around, along with the alarming amount of essential oil brands readily available makes it easy to get lost.

Gerhard Buchbauer is a professor of pharmaceutical chemistry at the University of Vienna in Austria and has researched and written extensively about chemical compounds used in aromatherapy. food stores, tout that they are 100% pure – but aren’t actually 100% pure. The majority of these “pure” bottles might contain a plethora of confusing and alarming substances such as chemical extenders, artificial fragrances, fillers etc etc. Long story short; not all essential oils are the same. While many oils might smell good, they also might contain toxic ingredients that can harm your health instead of providing the therapeutic and medical benefits that truly pure essential oils can offer.
